Kenneth Troutt

Kenneth Troutt coached boys' basketball in Arizona for 26 years, four as an assistant at Westwood, and a combined 22 more years as the head coach at Cactus and Peoria High Schools.  Troutt's teams won over 60% of their games with 301 total victories.  His boys were the Arizona State Champions in 1994, State Runners-Up twice, and the region champions six times.  Troutt was named the Arizona High School Basketball Coach of the Year in 1994, Region Coach of  the Year 3 times, and West Valley Coach of the Year 4 times.  He was an Arizona Coaches Association Assistant All-Star Coach in 1989.   Coach Troutt retired in 2011, but he remains active in the coaching profession at many fronts.  He and his father, Ken (1987), are the first father-son duo to be inducted in to the AHSACHOF.
