Frank spent two years as an assistant basketball coach at Coronado and Scottsdale High Schools before accepting the girls’ head basketball coaching position at St, Mary’s High in 1983. His teams had a 70% winning percentage, were State Champions four times, State Runner-Up twice and Region Champions 14 times. He was named State Coach of the Year five times, Region Coach of the Year 14 times, and in 2007 was honored as the National High School Athletic Coaches Association’s Region 8 Coach of the Year. Frank was routinely involved in numerous coaching and educational activities during his remarkable 40+ year career. He served as an assistant basketball coach at Metro Tech for one year and for five years at Central High Schools and when inducted in 2022, was the head boys tennis coach at Metro Tech.
