Brian  Metheny was a solid and successful swimming coach at Washington High School in the 1970s.  Coach Metheny's Rams won back-to-back 5A State Swimming Titles in 1973 and 1974.  His 1976 boys were the 5A State Runners-Up, and his 1972 and 1975 teams were third at the State Meet.
