Mike began his storied 26 year three sport coaching career at Sunnyslope High in the spring 1995 and remains coaching three sports annually today. As a 25 year head soccer coach his teams have won 291 games, finished as State Runner-up in 2016 and won Region Titles in 2001 and 2016. As a 21 year head softball coach, his teams have won 335 games and the Region Title five times. In 2016, he was named State Coach of the Year in girls’ soccer and in 2017, State Coach of the Year in softball. Mike has been named Region Coach of the Year an amazing six times in both soccer and softball. He was an assistant coach in baseball for five years including a State Championship in 1996 and has been the head freshmen football coach for 24 years. Mike has served the profession as a member of the AIA Soccer Sports Advisory Committee from 2003 through 2008 and the Softball Sports Advisory Committee from 2004 through 2010.
