Coach Ralph Moran was a charter member of the Arizona High School Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame.  Coach started his career in Cottonwood, moved to Seligman and ultimately to Wickenburg.   Coach Moran led the Wickenburg Wranglers to many a good season on the gridiron.  Coach Moran was the team leader for 32 years.  His teams compiled a 200-109-3 record during that span.  His 1957 and 1977 teams were the Class B State Football Champions. Coach also was successful at basketball (133-90) and baseball (96-48).  The football stadium at Wickenburg High School has been named "Ralph G. Moran Field".  Coach Moran passed away in 1984.
