Tim began coaching high school soccer as an assistant at Ironwood High School in 1993. A year later Tim assumed the head coaching position. To this date Tim's teams have won 338, lost 90, and tied 17 times for a winning percentage of almost 80%. Beck's Ironwood Eagles have been the Arizona State Soccer Champions 3 times, State Runners-Up 2 times, and Regional Champions an amazing 11 times. Coach Beck was named the National Soccer Federation Coach of the Year in 2001, the Region 8 Coach of the Year by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association in 2000 and 2011, the local Region Coach of the Year 3 times, and the West Valley Coach of the Year 4 times. Coach Beck gives back by staying active in the Arizona High School Soccer Coaches Board of Directors (4 years), served as the Vice-President in 1999 and 2000, and has chaired the Scheduling Committee for 3 years. He has also served as the Arizona Interscholastic Association's West Valley Region Soccer Representative from 1997 through 2004. He also served as the Desert West Region Soccer respresentative from 2004 to 2010. Coach Beck continues to coach at Ironwood to this day. The National Coaches Association recognized Coach Beck as their National Soccer Coach of the Year in 2019.
