Coach Sanford is currently serving on the Executive Board of the AHSACHOF. Coach spent 36 years of his life coaching prep football in Arizona. After stops as an assistant at St. Mary's and Moon Valley, Coach Sanford became the head coach for 18 years at Brophy College Prep. Tim's 1996 and 1998 Brophy teams were the state 5A runners-up. Tim closed out his career coaching his last 7 years at Paradise Valley High School. Sanford's overall record as a head coach was 128-79-2 and his teams were in the playoffs 12 times. Coach Sanford was treasurer of the Hall of Fame Executive Board for 8 tears.. Coach was on the football staff at Arizona Christian University. Tim Sanford passed away suddenly on April 29, 2022 after a short illness.
