Reedy began his 23 year storied career as head basketball coach at Alchesay High School in 1977. Highlights of his tenure at Alchesay include; five consecutive years as 2A Regional Champions from 1990 through 1994, four appearances in the state finals and a State Championship in 1993. He was the head coach of the 2A North All-Star team and named State Coach of the year in 1993. He has also been named Region Coach of the Year three times. He was especially proud of his team’s consistent behavior off the floor. In his own words, “Our Alchesay teams were very humble and often complimented on their behavior in restaurants and hotels.”
